GF211B Handheld double clamp digital phase angle meter is a
multi-functional portable instrument. It is an ideal choice for
electric power bureau, factories, mine, petroleum-chemistry
enterprises, metallurgy factories and so on.
Phase-Angle Meter. an instrument used to measure the cosine of the
phase-shift angle, or the power factor, between voltage and current
in electric AC circuits at frequencies specified for mains used by
industry or to measure the phase difference of electric
oscillations.
Phase angle meters measure magnitudes AND angles based on a
reference angle. Can you guess what the phase angle meter would
measure in the following figure? The phase angle meter would
measure 100V, but the angle will be a random number that might
change constantly because the phase angle meter does not have a
reference.
Phase-Angle Meter. The measuring mechanism in such meters is a
ratio meter of the electrodynamic, ferrodynamic, electromagnetic,
or induction type; the deflection of the moving part of the ratio
meter depends on the phase shift between the given voltage and
current. Electronic counters are used as phase-angle meters for a
wide range of frequencies.

Phase angle meter. It is capable of displaying the phase angle
relationship between two power signals, which can be two currents,
two voltages or any combination. Currents up to 10 A and voltages
up to 500 V can be applied directly to the instrument. The current
input range can be extended by using external current transformers.
