LZCG530-10 Protection relay device using 5P20 50/1A Zero Sequence Current Transformer

Zero Sequence Current Transformer. When ground connection takes place, our LZCG530-10 zero sequence current transformer, or ZSCT, detects the zero-sequence current, and it could work together with protection relays or signaling devices so as to monitor and protect power distribution systems.

LZCG530-10 Straight-Through zero sequence Current Transformer is suitable for current measurement and microcomputer protection of electrical equipment in 10KV and 35KV AC power system. It is widely used in not only compact fully insulated ring network switchgears such as ABB-Safe Ring/Safe Plus, Unstitch, Schneider RM6, SM6, Siemens 8DJ10/8DH10, Simosec, FBX, Fluokit, Omar Garbo GA, GAE; SEL TPS(Q); VEI Unifluorc; Eaton SVS/12 ring network, but also cable distribution boxes because of its small size, light weight, operable and convenient installation. It is very convenient that the transformer can be directly installed at the inlet and outlet cables.

Zero sequence current transformers, also known as core balance current transformers (CBCT), detect the presence of zero sequence currents during short circuit fault conditions such as the occurrence of a single line to ground fault that causes unbalanced currents in three-phase systems.
Zero sequence filtering is a concept used to eliminate zero sequence current component from the secondary current of Current Transformer used in Differential Protection of Transformer. This concept is useful in Transformer having earthed Star winding.
